Remember to capture pieces of the beast...

Yeah that artist that's famous for all the whale painting. I think this was one of his galleries. This guy must rake in the dough. Especially for coastal states. Here are some really cool sculptures about water and movement. But we did manage to find one gallery open and we were glad we walked in. More in the next post.

My favorite pic is the first big one because of the poster in the background. This is the kind of work I love to do, drawing on one big canvas along with a bunch of kids or friends. It's like we get to capture yet not tame that wild beast of ours, imagination. It somehow reminded me that I need to capture this beast by wrestling down its shadows and echoes, for their unchecked accumulation will steer me into a vortex that will envelope me with fret, ending up in the pull of a carnivorous porifera. It sucks all my hope and preys on my fear. It is when other people cage your beast without you knowing is the worst. That truly sucks. It really does. But they gotta beware too, for a wild beast caged too long can awaken, and then comes a reckoning they'll never be ready for. I am afraid of my own rage. Gotta regulate. Sorry, my thoughts sometimes run tangential to those kinds of whirlpools that I get a little too close for comfort to those event horizons but then by the grace of God, I get out of reach. Ok, time to go to bed...
