Little Lina, Jocel and Jason
I was so excited to get to see my cousin, Jocel, her husband Jason and their beautiful baby Lina. We left the pool, showered and got ready to drive out to this place. No gps, but the printed out map. We got directions to a Barnes and Nobles bookstore via internet to get a present for the baby. We said we would get there by 3 but it ended up like 3:30 and I was peeved. We got lost. The book store was actually called something like Book Star and was in this weird location in the back of the store. I know that babies have their schedule and I was cringing about the time. But everything was fine. Jocel was great and funny as usual, Jason was doing really well too! And little Lina was absolutely adorable. When Jocel asked me who does she look like, without any hesitation I said, "Her lola." She looks so much like Tita Lina to me.
We talked a lot and it was great to see where they lived. SD was treating them nice. Nice place, and I could've sworn that it was right next to the place where Jay's cousin lives too.
Little Lina was great. We also got to Skype with Kathy and Sophia! I actually called Lina "Sophia" one time and before I berated myself, Jocel said "Don't worry, I do that too, and I'm her own mother.." Jocel's a trip. Both Jason and Jocel gave us their favorite eating spots. They sent us to this one place called South Beach. A hole in the wall that they said had the best fish tacos in SD. SR was so excited. We said our good byes but we forgot to take pictures, so we rang the doorbell again and did this quick photoshoot. I'm glad I did. It would be great to visit them again. I would love one day to go to the SD Comic Con, then we could see them again.
