After driving around and finally finding parking we got here. I ordered 3 grilled mahi tacos as suggested by Jocel. SR ordered 1 taco and this awesome tasting clam dish. We got into a bit of stress during the direction driving situations, but that all disappeared here! She was so happy to be eating, and eating well. The clams were great. I actually liked them better than the fish tacos, but those were good as well. SR is pictured here with one of the nicest people we met in SD, the bouncer. He found us seats and also closed the window, because SR was cold. To do so he had other customers move their food. San Diego definitely has some cool people. I'm thinking he grew up pretty close with some Asians or Asian Americans. They have a bit population over there and definitely get more press and airtime in the news. I kept seeing Asians ans Asian Americans in the news stories, good and bad. It was good to see that on screen presence, one that I don't usually feel at all in NYC.
