Korean Transit

Bus

Here is a shot of a Korean public bus

This is a t-money card reader. There is one at the front and the middle door.
You don't even have to take your card out of the wallet. Just press your wallet up against the designated area of the reader and it shows how much it costs and how much you just paid. If you press it twice by accident, it marks it with an "x" to show that you already used it so there is not much of a chance of a double charge. Also you have to or you should scan the card once you leave because it charges by length of ride. I found this pretty cool. You also use this for the subway entrance and exit.

Subway
Here's an idea of the subway. This is on a late Friday night, the party hour....

Taxi or Car
GPS seems more advanced in Korea
Much of our transportation was by either SR's relatives or taxis, the latter being much cheaper than NYC.
Here is a blurry close up of SR's cousins' GPS. It's in friggin 3D.

Walking
Biggest crosswalk I have ever seen!

Bill pointed out to me the biggest crosswalk ever!
Here is a video did give you an idea of how huge this is.
