4D experience at the Manhwa museum

Cha Hyung and SR
I had no idea what I was in for. 4D was the glasses with a vibrating chair that also rocked you back suddenly as well as shot blasts of air behind your head which made SR's sister scream alot. So here we all are with a bunch of children in the audience and it was this crazy animated 3D movie about a girl and a boy. Then somehow the boy gets turned into a monster and there is so much violence and tragedy yet somehow love wins out in the end. 17 minutes long of a movie that turned out to be deeply moving. I had tears welling up as did SR. I guess even Korean children's movies can be hard hitting and extreme in it's own way yet leave you thinking. I was very impressed at the story and the music. I asked both my niece and nephew if they liked and they did. This was one of those movies that is not out to insult the intelligence of a child, or perhaps there is a sort of maturity in these kinds of fields here. Anyways epic, beautiful and moving. I still think about this movie.
Here is the music video trailer to give you an idea of the depth of what we saw...

Manhwa Pangmulgwan: Cool sets and diaramas

SR says this is just like the place she used to live. This is them. 2 sisters and a brother.

She said even the floor looks the same...

Manhwa creator's work space. I'm sorry but I would need a chair!!

Manwha background and SR

I keep telling SR that she has a good imagination (she has some crazy dreams) but she prefers to make beautiful backgrounds and color. Hence I took this pic. She is an excellent waterolorist and draftswoman. I look forward to working with her on a children's book and a manhwa. Even though I did not mean it, she is out of focus while the background is in focus. Perhaps after working some she will gain the confidence to create a story of her own. On this occasion I don't lack the confidence, I lack the discipline. I'm working on it.
